She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Gregg; her parents, J. E. "Pete" Tharp and Cleo Beckner Tharp; her siblings, Mary Lynn Hurst Jarmusz and Ray; and her siblings-in-law, Ralph Gregg (Shirley) and Pauline McMurray (Gordon).
She is survived by: her son Gary Gregg (Diane); her grandchildren, Will Gregg and Julia Gregg; and her close friends, Betty Golden, Shannon Norris and Owen Davidson. She is also survived by several nieces and one nephew.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home (200 Jaybird Rd, Morristown, TN 37814). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hamblen Memory Gardens (5421 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, TN 37814).
