He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Chambers and Ellen Hurst Chambers; his daughter Sandra Loughlin; his son-in-law Roy Snoe; and his siblings, Paul, Fred, Clayton Chambers, Nellie and Mary Brooks.
He is survived by: his children, Ed Chambers (Carole) and Sharon Snoe; his grandchildren, Scott Helm (Claire), Heather McAllister (Scott), Jason Loughlin, Nathan Chambers (Brandi), Heath Chambers (Ashley) and Sarah Delpy (James); and his sister Shirley Bibbins (Harold).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials to UT Hospice or to the Hamblen County Humane Society.
