Frances Lestina Smith Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frances Lestina Smith of Morristown, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 20, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Smith; her parents, Lester Myers and Reba Myers; and her sister Louise Smelcer. She is survived by: her children, David Smith (Teresa) and Sandy Gilbert (Gary); her grandchildren, Megan, Josh Myers, Bradley, Danielle Gilbert, Tyler and Jennifer Gilbert; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Abby, Neely, Ella James, Baylor and Landry.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Liberty Hill Global Methodist Church (1053 Old Liberty Hill Rd, Morristown, TN 37814). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hamblen Memory Gardens (5421 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, TN 37814).
