We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2021, at the age of 76, Everette Purkey Jr. (Morristown, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vada Royston Purkey and Louis Everett Purkey; and his siblings, Laura Robeson, Helen Nicholson, Otto Purkey and Larry Purkey.
He is survived by: his son Scott Purkey (Christy); his brother David W. Purkey (Pam); and his sister-in-law Lynn Purkey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System Foundation.
