She was predeceased by: her husband Guy Atkins; and her parents, Lloyd Wheatley and Elsie Wheatley. She is survived by: her son Steve Atkins (Julia); her grandchildren, Nathan Atkins (Leslie), Lindsey Fowler (Griffin) and Keith Atkins (Rebecca); her great grandchildren, Anderson, Callie Fowler, Reagan and Grant Atkins; and her close friend Lee Ann Hayes.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to The Christian School at Morristown Baptist Tabernacle where her great grandchildren attend.
