It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Essie Hurst of Morristown, Tennessee, who passed away on January 1, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Claude Wayne Hurst; her parents, Fred Eller and Belle Eller; and her sisters, Deborah Edsberg, Jessephine Reed and Bessie Fannon.

She is survived by: her son Richard Carl Hurst (Janet Weaver Hurst); her grandchildren, David Wayne Hurst and Janelle Marie Hurst; and her siblings, Leora Drummonds, Dorothy Anne "Cookie" Roberts, Johnny Eller and Ray Eller. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
