He was predeceased by: his wife Argeline Roach; his mother Maybelle Roach; his brother Bud Roach; his daughter-in-law Mary Roach; his granddaughter Sissy Gibson; and his sons-in-law, Ronnie Gibson and Eddie Shelton.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Gibson of Morristown, Sue Maples (Bill) of Morristown, Shirley Shelton of Morristown and Gene Roach of Morristown; his grandchildren, Ronnie Gibson Jr., Christy Asbury, Brad Shelton, Tasha Daughtery, Nick Roach of Morristown, Jessica Holt of Parrottsville, April Seals and Jason Delph of Sneedville; and his sisters, Bonnie Hooker and Irene Witt. He is also survived by 24 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter.
