She was predeceased by: her son Eddie Shelton; her husband William Pat Shelton; her parents, Doc Akins and Edith Akins; her brother George Akins; and her sister-in-law Shirley Akins.
She is survived by: her son Ronald S Shelton; her grandchildren, Christy Asbury (Shawn), Tasha Dougherty (Logan), Christopher Shelton (Kate), Deborah Johnson (Taylor), Bradley Shelton (Taylor) and Ronnie E Shelton; and her daughter-in-law Shirley Shelton. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
