She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil C. Harris and Minnie Owenby Harris; and her siblings, Gene Harris and Betty Jo Holt. She is survived by: her children, Bobby Vess and Lisa Edmonds; her grandchildren, Ally Morgan (Brett), Michalla Edmonds and Tim Vess; and her nieces and nephews, Kathy Cook (David), Larry Holt, Karen Holdway (Donnie), Kim Harris Brown and Bryan Harris.
