He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Whitlow and Mary Smith Whitlow; his brother Albert Whitlow, Jr.; and his great-grandparent Sadie Mae Ivy. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Taylor Whitlow; his daughters, Gail Bacon (Tim) and Sonya Self (Lynn); and his grandchildren, Sydney, Justin Ivy and Taylor Self.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church (425 Lincoln Ave, Morristown, TN 37813). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hamblen Memory Gardens (5421 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, TN 37814).
