He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Manis and Pauline Manis; and his siblings, Glenn Manis, Alice Jones, Eunice Gilliam and Janice Manis.
He is survived by: his son Greg Manis; his siblings, Dan Manis, Gertrude Hurd, Myra Brooks and Mildred Sizemore; his brother-in-law Wayman Gilliam; and his close friend Joyce Livesay. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
