She was predeceased by: her husband George W. Johnson; her parents, Claude Thomas Scissom and Pearl Ellen Meeks Burnett; and her siblings, James N. Scissom (Faye) and Shirley B. Gasaway (David).
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Lynn Johnson (Faye) and Katherine Ellen Johnson Hodge (Bob); her granddaughters, Angela Lynn Johnson Bloodworth (Kerry), Christy Johnson and Robin Johnson Coher (Dan); her siblings, Tom Scissom (Martha), John Burnett (Linda), Elsie Fultz (Jim) and Anna Breneman (Bobbie); and her great grandchild Dylan Coher. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Rocky Valley Baptist Church building fund or Morningside Baptist Church building fund.
