She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude C. Purkey and Gertrude Watson Purkey; her husband Brownlee M. Berry, Jr.; her sister Mary Purkey Dearing; her brother-in-law E. C. Dearing; her brothers, Payne W. Purkey and Clarence Purkey (Doc); her sisters-in-law, Betty Purkey, Iris Purkey and Alice Purkey; her nephew Jimmy Purkey; and her nieces, Mary Sue Purkey Simpson and Janice Purkey.
She is survived by: her grandchild Aggravation; her children, Judy Berry Hope and Ronald Calvin; her daughter-in-law Bobbie Berry; her son Don Claude Berry of Morristown; her grandchildren, Chris, Timmy Berry (Misty Berry), Wes Hope (Danielle Hope), Shelli Perkins Synamon (Mike Synamon), Ben and Jeremy Garcia; her great grandchildren, Madilynn, Amelia Hope, Blaklee Faith Berry, Ryan Berry, Isabella, Drake Garcia, Land and Nash Synamon; her nieces, Delores Dearing Coffey, Diana Dearing Carroll, Brenda Dearing Mitchell, Andrea Purkey Bondietti and Sandy Purkey Lawless; and her nephew Bobby Purkey. She is also survived by several great nieces, nephews, and beloved cousins.
