It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Weems Purkey of Morristown, Tennessee, who passed away on December 28, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Terrence Shawn Purkey; his parents, E. Shields Purkey and Lela M. Purkey; and his brother Joseph F. Purkey. He is survived by: his children, Terra May (Anthony), Travis Purkey and Tanna Purkey; his grandchildren, Tyler May, Trevor Purkey, Tanner May, Taryn May and Sierra Ball; and his siblings, Betty Purkey, Janice Mills (Lowell) and Doyle Purkey (Annetha). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
