We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2024, at the age of 88, Donald Douglas McDonald of Morristown, Tennessee, born in Vinton, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Donald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Emily McDonald (Flora); his parents, Frank McDonald and Carrie McDonald (Bush) of Roanoke, VA; and his in-laws, Harley and Irene Flora (Howe) of Rogersville, TN..
He is survived by: his children, David McDonald (Jamie), Matthew (Joshua), Mark McDonald (Nancy) and JD (Laura); and his sister Nancy Johnson of Salem, VA. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
