He was predeceased by: his wife Elida Morris; his father Vinson Morris; his stepparents, Janet Morris and Duane; and his brothers, Paul Morris, Joby Buckingham and Duane Morris.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie Bumgardner (Marty), Sharon Moore (Patrick) and Dexter Morris, Jr. of Morristown; and his grandchildren, Rachel Cameron (Dustin), Aaron Moore, Shawn Morris, Madisson Poe (Lucas), Caleb Moore (Eve), Kamarin Morris and Jack Morris.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stubblefield Funeral Home (5421 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Russellville, TN 37860). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hamblen Memory Gardens (5421 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Russellville, TN 37860).
