He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Denton and Flossie Denton; his siblings, Paul Denton (Gladys), Charles Denton (Jean) and Aileen Mills; his daughter Patty Denton; his granddaughter Kaitlyn Copeland; and his son-in-law Bruce Plum.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Denton; his daughters, Karen Ward (Frankie), Angie Plum and Charla Bruns (Tim); his grandchildren, Samuel, Chloe Ward, Brooke Whitt (Cody), Christopher Plum (Arleth), Cameron Copeland, Katie Dennis (Wes), Evan and Ryan Bruns; his great grandchild Natanael Plum; and his siblings-in-law, Cecil Mills and Villa Ray (Bob). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
