It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Della Scott of Morristown, Tennessee, born in Varney, West Virginia, who passed away on October 19, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen D. Adkins and Grace Adkins; her husband Stearl "Scottie" Scott; and her sisters, Estaline Adkins, Lucille Lepley and Ann Perry.
She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Paul Perry of Varney, WV, Phyllis Adkins of Lawrenceville, GA and Dorothy Adkins of Danville, WV. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Morristown Food Bank, 3300 Ponce De Leon Blvd., Morristown, TN., as Della always ensured that everyone had enough to eat.
