He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Morelock and Jeanie Morelock; and his brothers, John, J. C. and Holland Morelock.
He is survived by: his wife Freda Morelock; his daughter Marla Taylor; and his siblings, Don Morelock, Carolyn Singleton and Diane Morelock. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
