He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John, Lucille Newman, Leonard and Lillie Nichols; his parents, Henry Parrish and Dorothy Nichols; and his sister Linda Yount.
He is survived by: his nephew Scott Yount; his siblings, Parrish Nichols, Jr. (Glenda), Clara Mefford (Ron), Margaret "Nita" Bacon and Michael Nichols (Carolyn); and his brother-in-law Ronnie Yount. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
