He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold B. Clayton and Helen Catherine Clayton (Stewart); his grandson Gregory Speelman; and his brother James Robert Clayton. He is survived by: his wife Lois "Penny" Clayton; his children, Michael Clayton, Lynne Braun-Warth (Jeff) and Jeff Speelman (Lori); his grandchildren, Jenica Clayton, Chi Hye Chong, Brian Braun (Katie) and Alyssa Warth; his great grandchildren, Akira, Jae Hae and Asia Walker; his sister Marilyn Joann Cogar; and his nieces and nephews, Steve Cogar, Kelly Cogar, Donnie Cogar, Kathy Shields and Kim Cogar.
