He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Bill and Ethel Lee Birchfield; his brother Frankie Lee Jolly; and his grandparents, John, Bessie Shannon, Charlie and Dora Birchfield.
He is survived by: his siblings, Brenda Evans, Gail Manning (Johnny), Judy Broyles (Ritchie), Leslie Vestal (Willie), Linda Shell (Max), Gary Birchfield (Janet) and Robert Birchfield (Cathy); and his close friends, Jason Johnson and Avery Spurgeon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
