He was predeceased by: his parents, Verlin Maxey and Eva Maxey. He is survived by: his siblings, Delmas Maxey, Alfred Maxey, Leamon Maxey, Imogene Seals and Illeta Jones; and his sons, Steven Maxey, Brian Maxey and Jonathan Maxey.
