He was predeceased by: his son Lucas Helm; and his parents, Carroll Edward Helm and Jacqueline Russell. He is survived by: his wife Edna Helm of Morristown; his children, Scott Helm of Charlotte, NC, Lydia Drew of Russellville and Tracy Ashcraft of Lexington, KY; his grandchildren, Zachary, James Helm, Isaac, Eylan, Azalee Drew, Taylor and Will Ashcraft; and his siblings, Norman Helm and Sandra Dickerson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
