He is survived by: his daughters, Katrina Yount and Kim Hickey (Buddy); his brothers, Junior Yount (Evelyn) and Johnny Yount (Loretta); and his grandsons, Tyler Yount and Chad Hickey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
