He was predeceased by: his father Norman Patterson (Ada Ruth); his son Billy Donald Patterson, Jr.; and his sister Martha Ilene Patterson-Cobbs. He is survived by: his wife Willie Mae; his daughters, Kimberly Young (Lawrence) of Henersonville, TN., Donetta Goodson (Joe, Jr.) of Morristown, TN and Melissa Hodges (Consuelo) of Fort Worth, Texas; and his brothers, Norman Fred Patterson (Mabel) of Morristown and Bobby Lee Patterson (Pearlie) of Greensboro. He is also survived by Grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
