Billie Hazelwood Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Hazelwood of Morristown, Tennessee, who passed away on November 14, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ailshie and Dussie Ailshie; her parents-in-law, Ervin and Lena Hazelwood; her brothers, Rev. Glenn Ailshie and Scott Ailshie; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Ailshie and Marie Ailshie.

She is survived by: her husband Ivan Hazelwood; her children, Carolyn McCarter (JB) and Rev. Chris Hazelwood (Christie); her grandchildren, David Slagle (Haley) and Desirea Rader (Ritchie); her great grandchildren, Chloe Slagle of Morristown, David Slagle of Morristown, Forrest Slagle of Morristown, Cade Rader of Morristown and Zane Rader of Morristown; her siblings, George Ailshie of Newport, Harry Ailshie of Morristown and Launa Lyle of Jefferson City; her sister-in-law Betty Ailshie of Mullins, S. C.; and her close friends, Sarah Papapietro, Margaret Carson and Shirley Ellison. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
