He was predeceased by: his children, Sam Trent and Darlene Witt; and his parents, Luther Trent and Martha Trent. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Trent; his son Ronnie Trent (Karen); his stepchildren, Michael Smith, Carolyn Smith and Tina Elkins; his grandchildren, Kiffiny Sisk and Whitney Sheffers; his stepgrandchildren, Nathaniel Smith, Amy Nicholas, Chad Bell and Christina Elkins; and his great grandchildren, Kyla Sisk, Kyndal Sisk, Hayden Black, Hunter Nicholas and Nolan Bell. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters; and a host of nieces and nephews.
