It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Douglas Parker of Morrison, Tennessee, who passed away on February 12, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin CeeYork and Lavonia May Walker Parker. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Parker of Morrison, TN; his daughters, Tina Hatcliff (Bubba) of Woodbury, TN and Demetra Gipson of Woodbury, TN; his grandsons, Jared Parker (Brianna) of Cleveland, TN, Parker Hatcliff of Woodbury, TN and Easton Hatcliff of Woodbury, TN; his brother Howard "Egypt" Parker (Pat) of Morrison, TN; his aunts, Joyce Ann Simmons of Morrison, TN and Faye Campbell of McMinnville, TN; and his nieces, Michelle Stamps (Tony), Mary Jo Pollock (Glenn) and Melanie Parker.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made at High's to Boyd Christian School or mailed to the school at 806 Morrison Street, McMinnville, TN 37110.
