He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Murphy and Jewell Murphy. He is survived by: his sister Julia Spence (Walt); his niece Elizabeth Rice (Aaron); his great-nephews, Jackson and Spencer Price; his nephew Walter Sutton Spence, III (Kristin); and his great-nephews, James and Connor Spence.
