He is survived by: his wife Loretta Smith; his children, John Ryan Broughton of Phoenix, AZ and Crystal Broughton Altherr of Mesa, AZ; his sister-in-law Patti Broughton of Mesa, AZ; and his cousins, Linda and Harvey Kuester of Richmond, MI.. He is also survived by three grandchildren; brother.
