He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Claude Calvin Rhea and Gladys Marie Adams Rhea; his wife Linda J. Shafer Rhea; his son James Calvin Rhea Jr; his sister Sue Rhea Hood (Robin) of Bon Aqua, TN.; and his pets, Mac and Chloe Marie.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to help with funeral arrangements.
