She was predeceased by: her parents, Ella Carr and Henry Carr; her husband Ross Harmon; her sons, Jimmy Ross Harmon and Johnny Ray Harmon; her granddaughter Janet Lowery; and her siblings, Frank Carr (Hazel), Blue Carr (Ruby), Jay Carr (JoAnn), Bud Carr (Faye), Sue Stacy, Lily Rogers, Estelle Bryan, Doc and Willie St. John.
She is survived by: her daughter JoEllen Lowery (Billy); her grandsons, Jamie Harmon and Jayson Harmon; her great grandchild John Russ Harmon; her brother Joe Carr; and her friend Sarina Dotson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
