She was predeceased by: her parents, Malcolm Ivan and Willie Louise Bettis Garrett; her husband Oscar Lavern Baker; and her brother Malcolm Ivan Bettis, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Lee Baker (LaJuana) of Morrison, TN and Anthony Baker (Linda) of Manchester, TN; her grandchildren, LaKaryl Mayfield (Michael) of McMinnville, Caleb Baker (Taylor) of Manchester, TN, Nate Baker of Morrison, TN, Cade Baker (Madison) of Manchester, TN and Elizabeth Baker of Morrison; her great grandchildren, Laurel and Branson Mayfield; and her siblings, Delon Ward (Bea) of McMinnville, Terry Ward of Murfreesboro, TN and Sherry Lynn Jenkins of Murfreesboro, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the High Funeral Home (101 College St, McMinnville, TN 37110). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
