He was predeceased by: his sons, Bobby and Rocky Brown; his parents, Robert Lee, Sr. and Bernice L. Brown; and his brothers-in-law, Lee Hitell, Johnny Lemka and David Hudson.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah E. Ridley Brown; his children, Lisa Fisher (Eddie) and Joe Brown (Donna); his grandchildren, Marla Fox, T. J. Fox and Lauren Brown; and his siblings, Patrick Brown (Lana), Jim Brown (Linda), Wanda Hitell, Patricia Webb (Buddy), Peggy Lemka and Debbie Hudson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
