It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Edwin Parnell of Mooresburg, Tennessee, born in Oneida, Tennessee, who passed away on December 31, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Parnell and Edna Parnell; his sister Ann Adkins (Kelly); his stepson Scott Setsor; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Pearson, Dwight Pearson, Dale Winstead and Clay Winstead.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel Parnell of Mooresburg; his daughters, Lisa Norton (Chuck) of Charlotte, NC and Renee Eiler (Jon) of Knoxville; his stepson Chris Setsor (Kim) of Treadway; his grandchildren, Erica Taylor (Matt), Trey Norton (Noelle), Andrew Norton, Cheyenne Harmon and Caleb Setsor; his great grandchildren, Emma, Eli, Mason Taylor, Gunner and Kemper Harmon; his siblings, Bob Parnell (Carolyn) of Wichita, Mike Parnell (Doris) of Mooresville, Indiana and Brenda Sue Parnell of San Francisco, California; and his siblings-in-law, Hobart Winstead, Lon Winstead, Carolyn Winstead and Irene Winstead. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
