She was predeceased by: her grandmothers, Daisy Cook of Tennessee and Betsy Ilene Gordon; and her mother-in-law Ellen Gilliam. She is survived by: her parents, Wanda Christine Gordon Cook and Lyle Henderson Cook; her husband David Capre; her children, Monica Peterman (David) and Zackary Gilliam; her grandson Andrew Luke Peterman; her siblings, Jeff Cook (Teresa), Stacey Cook (Dorothy), William Cook (Nancy), Kevin Cook (Crystal), Laurie Webb (Terry) and Edward Cook; her mother-in-law Judy Capre; and the father of her children Jack Gilliam. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and all of her loving friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Old Sruce Pine Baptist Church (1409 TN-31, Mooresburg, TN 37811). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the United Cancer Support Foundation at 67 Baum Dr. Unit 8 Knoxville, TN.
