He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Welch and Ora Welch. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Beulah Welch; his sister Thelma Jean McGinnis; his siblings-in-law, Edna Wear (Arlie), Sharon Myers (Boyd), Debbie Baird (David) and Donald "Wolfe" Wolfe (Myrna); and his nieces and nephews, Christy Waller, Jane Young, Young, Debbie McGinnis, Gail Nicely, Linda Johnson, Sandy Wear, April Ellis, Jessica Worthington, Adam Myers, Phillip Wolfe and Noah Waller.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stubblefield Funeral Home (5421 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Russellville, TN 37860). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hamblen Memory Gardens (5421 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Russellville, TN 37860).
