She is survived by: her husband Jack Short; her children, Melinda Brooks (Richard), Jeff Short (Jennifer), Henry Short (Lucinda McMahan), Greg Short (Patricia) and Ashley Engle (Michael); and her sister Geraldene Johnson (Carl). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
