She was predeceased by: her close friend Charles Wright; her parents, Walter Handy and Bertha Louise Honeycut Handy; and her siblings, Donnie Handy, James Handy, Jim Handy, Becky Reynolds and Joyce Cox.
She is survived by: her brother Billy Handy (Lisa); her nephew Robert Cox; and her stepsons, Charles and Anthony Wright. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
