We are sad to announce that on July 10, 2023, at the age of 82, Ruth Alice Edinger of Monterey, Tennessee, born in Miami, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Wilson and Mary Alice Norman Wilson; and her daughters, Mary A. Sherrill and Debbie Edinger Garrett. She is survived by: her husband Clyde Edinger of Monterey, TN; her sons, Michael A. Edinger of Old Town, FL and Patrick W. Edinger; her son-in-law Tim Sherrill of Crossville, TN; her grandchildren, Mark Sherrill, Amber Wile, Leslie McKenna and Ashley Sherrill; and her great grandchildren, Timothy Robinson and Jordan Wile. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family has respectfully asked that donations be made to the charity of your choice in Alice's memory.

“My wife Nita and I loved getting to know our wonderful next door neighbor, Alice, over the past two and a half years. We were welcomed immediately to the community and received so much warmth from Clyde and Alice almost daily. We know she is now with her Lord and Savior Jesus in her heavenly home to rest eternally. We will miss her greatly and we pray for strength for her loved ones and family during this difficult time. May the Lord’s peace be upon you.”
