It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Edward Abbott Jr. of Monterey, Tennessee, born in Tampa, Florida, who passed away on January 4, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Abbott; his children, Michael Abbott (Leslie), Brian Thomas Abbott of Knoxville, TN, Mary Linette Almond (Reggie) of Monterey, TN and Kevin Patrick Abbott (Keri); and his siblings, Ed Abbott and Donna Kelley. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and, and 1 great grandchild, 2 step great grandchildren.
