He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jimmy Stamps, Cecil Stamps, Danny Stamps, Donnie Stamps, Earl Stamps, Sonny Stamps, Doris Simmons, Mary Gay and Inez McCormick.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Cooper Stamps; his children, Little Ralph Stamps, Savage Stamps, Tina Stamps, Myra Lane (Brian) and Mariah Payne; and his siblings, Harvey Stamps and Wilma Templeton (Peter). He is also survived by several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
