With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Ray Griffin (Monterey, Tennessee), born in Nashville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 17, 2024 at the age of 81. Though James Ray may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James Ray touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Garfield Griffin and Irene Gertrude Swaner Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Griffin; his sisters, Anne Veevers of Franklin, TN and Vivian Allen of Lutherville, MD.; his niece Lisa Sachse (Steve); his great-nephew Jacob Sachse (Becca) of Lutherville, MD.; his brother-in-law Earl Johnson; his nieces, Jana Elsea (David) of Rockwood, TN and Whitney Richert (Devin); and his great-niece Jordan Richert of Vancouver, BC.
