He was predeceased by: his father Willie Snow Goggins; his wife Ernestine Sparks Goggins; and his siblings, Clarence, James Carl Goggins, Lorine Simmons, Martha Lois Chilton, Beatrice Hall, Betty Jean Goggins, Lillian Shumate and Anna Herrell.
He is survived by: his son Mark; his daughter-in-law Michelle Goggins of Virginia Beach, VA; his daughter Melissa Williams of Cookeville; and his grandchildren, Vanessa Greenup, Whitney Mondragon (Aaron) and Alec Williams. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
