He is survived by: his wife Donna Stewart Smith of Cookeville; his stepdaughter Bridget Salazar (Alfredo) of Livingston; his stepgrandchildren, Carson, Gabriel and Benny Wells Salazar; his sisters, Betty Morris (David) of Cookeville and Dian Jones (Larry) of Cookeville; and his nieces and nephews, David Smith, Bryan Smith, Kimberly Smith, Creigh Slaven, Kristen Atkins and Amber Sexton.
