He was predeceased by: his father James "Buddy" Thomas; and his brother Jason "Skinny" Thomas. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Myers Thomas; his brother James "Fuji" Thomas; his sister-in-law Stacey Melton; his nephews, Greg Melton (Candace), Colby Melton (Abby), Weston Melton and Jaxon Melton; and his niece Aurora Melton.
