He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Sloan and Doris Korneman Sloan; and his son Carl Sloan. He is survived by: his wife Linda Sloan; his children, Tina Dickerson, Shirley Rosenthal, Tammy Somers, Dean Farnsworth and Robert Preiss; and his brother Doug Sloan.
