With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Eugene Stephens (Monteagle, Tennessee), who passed away on January 14, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Adam Stephens and Easter Lilly Hall Stephens; and his siblings, James Stephens, Ruby Wilson, Eunice Campbell, Wilma Shepherd, Dovie Smith, Kinley Stephens and Vester Stephens.

He is survived by: his wife Debra; his sons, Adam Stephens and Anthony Stephens; his siblings, Laura Smith, Bernice Cannon and Claud Stephens; and his grandchildren, Adam Blake Stephens and Auron Lee Stephens.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cumberland Funeral Home, Inc. (207 Mabee Ave, Monteagle, TN 37356). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
