She was predeceased by: her husband John Howard Shipley; her parents, Raymond Wren and Ethel Wren; and her brothers, Jake (Ruth Wren) and Ted (Janice Wren).

She is survived by: her children, Bobby (Libby Shipley), Roger "Bubba" (Jeanetta Shipley), Rickey "Pete" (Betsy Shipley) and Elizabeth Carter of Mosheim; and her grandchildren, Glenna (Anthony Fine), Karen (Derrick Lester), Amy Shipley, Heather Morgan, Brenda Shipley, Brooke (Dylan Ried), Bronson Shipley and Justin Carter. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of special friends.
